I am an advocate of fostering close relationship within the family. However it may seem that this does not happen in my family. It is a pity.
The good thing that has happened this year despite someone trying so hard to make things difficult for us - we had a family outing together. We had lunch and then dinner together - well for dinner not everyone was present but we did have some time together.
I guess the challenge in life is whether people can get together without trying to outwit, outdo or even out kill each other. The challenge in life is not to rise to anger when someone tries to provoke you. This itself is very difficult. I believe God is a nice person. He will not see to the condemnation of a person. Instead God is merciful. He seeks the good in people and He is someone that I can trust.
This 2011, I put my trust in God to bring my family together - both my brothers who are married and have a family on their own and also with my family - mum and dad. This year, I want peace and harmony in my house. This is what I wish to have. This is something that I will do.
