Having A LIFE @ 30 DAYS OF DIFFERENCE

I was inspired when I read steve pavlina's 30 days challenge. Most so when I read other blogs on doing something different from 30 days. Wow.. I said to myself... isn't this idea fantastic?
Doing something different for 30 days = doing something different in my life. Rather than saying that I am bogged down with work and complexity that I cannot have a life. I realized that I COULD HAVE A LIFE!

Thus I couldn't resist jumping at this suggestion/advice/challenge ... whatever you want to call it. How could I not! It sounded do-able :-)

So these are things that I DID (grin) :

  1. I started blogging again.
  2. I carried my broadband to work everyday so that in the event that I became bored whilst traveling on the train or bus, I could catch up with some emails or work to do.
  3. I started reading again.
  4. I started counting the number of books and these increased my motivation to read more.
  5. I started to utilize MSN messenger to get in touch with my friends. Well... even though I just asked from 1 friend- it is a start.
  6. I started becoming competitive at my PMP training. I now read more.
  7. I started printing out PMP questions that I could do and work on whilst I was on the train or bus.
  8. I started caring for myself and went on a shopping spree. I no longer blame myself for ruining my shoes with my supposedly heavy weight and taking long walks. Instead I invested in buying a flat slipper to do this and in turn saved my feet from hurting too much.
  9. I started caring for my feet. I massage them more and even give them plenty of attention when I bathe.
  10. I no longer blame myself when I miss the bus and have to take a cab instead.
  11. I have set my mind that I can do anything and this is working.
  12. I make myself to write down.. things that I am grateful each day. This has in turn allowed me to look at the positive side of life i.e opportunities are always there at every corner.
In short, there have been so many things that I started doing. Maybe I am not so discipline in working out a daily/monthly goal. I guess I will start working on this list right now.
